Olmué is a quiet, small town in central Chile surrounded by rural landscapes. The nearest airport to Olmué is Santiago International Airport (SCL).Buses from SCL to the conference venue: The organization arranged 3 journeys on August 30th by bus from Santiago´s Airport to Olmué. @ 10hrs, 14hrs & 18:00hrs.We will meet at ARS Restaurant, located on the “Rotonda Oriente”, on the 3rd level of the Airport, to wait for the buses.
We will have 2 buses coming back from Olmué to the Airport on September 11th @ 11hrs and 14hrs (according to your flights schedule) and taxis for those leaving earlier than that.
In case you miss our buses, the following are instructions to reach Olmué from Santiago airport: First, take a bus ride, either with the “Centropuerto” or “Turbus” company to the bus station Terminal Alameda. The ride to Terminal Alameda should take around 20 minutes and the price should be about 1500 CLP (After 22hrs, you should take a taxi straight to Olmué).
From Terminal Alameda, you can take a 2-hour direct bus to Olmué, the price should be around $5.500 ( 9USD).

From Valparaíso and Viña del Mar: There are buses from metro Pajaritos to Viña del Mar/Valparaíso every 15′ until 22hrs. Then you can take the local metro service (http://www.merval.cl/) to Limache and you can reach Olmué by local bus or taxi.
Useful Information: The local currency is Chilean Pesos (CLP), 1 USD= 690 CLP, 1 EUR=780 CLP. Since Olmué is a small town, we recommend you to withdraw money from the ATMs at Santiago´s Airport (or in any other major city) and bring enough cash with you to Olmué. Major credit cards are also accepted at Hosteria El Copihue and in most restaurants.
Olmué has a Mediterranean weather. In September, the expected average temperature is 18 ºC during the day and an average minimum of 5 ºC during nights.
